Atom - Basic building blocks to all things in the universe
Boil - When heat is added to a liquid until it becomes a vapour
Combustion - A chemical reaction that produces heat and light
Condensation - When a gas returns to a liquid state
Conduction - Heat transfer between two touching objects
Convection - Heat transfer where warmth rises, causing motion in molecules.
Equilibrium - When objects reach the same temperature through heat transfer
Evaporation - When a liquid becomes a gas or vapour
Freeze - When heat is removed from a liquid until it is solid
Gas - A state of matter that has no fixed shape or volume
Liquid - A state of matter that has no fixed shape, but a fixed volume
Melt - When heat is added to a solid until it becomes a liquid
Molecule - Two or more atoms combined
Permanent - Lasting forever or for a long time
Radiation - Heat transfer in the form of rays, waves or particles
Solid - A state of matter that has a fixed shape and volume
Temperature - Provides a measurement for heat energy in Degrees Celsius
Temporary - Does not last forever or for a long time
Vapour - A gas which is a liquid at room temperature
Vibrate - A very fast movement in two or more directions
